We are thrilled to announce the results of Brock University’s comparative study of the Marsblade I2s.

In early 2023, Brock University and George Brown College, Ontario, Canada conducted a study analyzing the performance of Marsblade I2 blade holders with dynamic pitch versus traditional holders with fixed pitch.

INTRODUCTION

Since the start of Marsblade in 2011 we have seen and felt the benefits of a rocking chassis for off-ice training and on-ice performance. Over the years we have conducted numerous tests, some in collaboration with The Swedish Winter Sports Research Centre in Östersund, to learn more about the patented Flow Motion Technology (FMT).

These tests have all shown positive results of the Marsblade I2’s performance on ice in all facets of skating. We were (and still are) curious to learn more about how FMT affects skating from a strictly scientific perspective through an independent third party.

In early 2023, Brock University, Ontario, Canada conducted a study on the differences between Marsblade’s dynamic I2 blade holder and traditional fixed blade holders.
